Terre Ugo is a family run, organically cultivated lavender field. If you appreciate the calming floral scent of lavender - imagine the potential effects of being in a field surrounded by it.
I loved my visit at Terre Ugo so much, I went twice! The first time to learn about the history of the family owned farm & the second visit my friend and I participated in their soap making workshop. This was very fun, and was a unique activity!
Terre Ugo is also a beautiful outdoor venue space which is used for weddings, baby showers, family reunions and so much more!! Perfect space for families, solo travellers, big groups and dogs as well.
The team are all super friendly, knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions that you have.
Looking forward to visiting again in my next visit to Aix-en-Provence.
Friendly staff, cute grounds, near to town. Bring a picnic and enjoy the many spots on property.
Flo was a great host and have us a brief education on all things lavender.
We felt scammed. We took a bus from Aix-en-Provence and were really excited to get to know more about the lavender fields.
When we got there the lady at the counter charged us for the entrance and the soap workshop... No explanation for the lavender, no idea what we were doing more than just aimlessly walking around. It was pretty though.
The worst came at the supposed workshop, they just gave us a block of soap to play with it and put some stamps on. Again, no explanation, no nothing. No idea what we were doing.
The prices at the store were also overpriced. I understand it's from local artisans but really, don't waste your money and buy that in the city.
Overpriced for what it is.
Went there for the “soirée d’été” which happens every Friday evening from July to august.
Bought the box for 27.5€ and in the boxe had lots of fruits and vegetables and some charcuterie and cheese. Alcohol is not included. A bottle of wine was almost 40€
The view was nice around the lavender fields but the whole experience was a bit over worked as if it was for influencers and instagrammers only.
Really not authentic
We came at the beginning of August (end of lavender season) so we weren’t expecting much of anything. However there were still some lavender here and the overall fields were very well maintained. Plus, this was one of the closer fields from our hotel (near Aix-en-Provence). The staff was also very friendly and explained to us the history of the fields as well as the different types of lavender found there.
It's a very nice and familiar place. Very friendly staff, definitely worth a visit!
Not good. We went from Aix in bus because it was recommended in the tourist office in Aix. We were happy to make a soap workshop but when we reached there It is incredibly expensive. You pay 7€ to be able to see the small field which at the …
A fun little excursion. We were happy to pay 7€ to support a small business with a great back story. Florian gave us an overview and history of the place, and let us sample products. He was so pleasant and friendly! We wandered the fields …
